Hi there, I'm Krista!

I have a passion for working with children and their caregivers. I specialize in stress reduction, coping with change, and building social-emotional skills, as well as anxiety, depression, and grief.

My focus

My background in school-based therapy has allowed me to work with a diverse group of clients. The clients I see are often coping with stressors like loss, divorce, family physical or mental illness, ADHD, community violence, and school pressures. I have also worked with parents to help them talk to their children about feelings.

My approach

I seek to meet you where you are and build safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship. I see my clients through a client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed lens. As needed, I will also use cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and expressive arts therapy.
