I work with individuals, families, co-parents, and couples. My hope is to help you heal and live an abundant life filled with happiness. I believe our trials and mishaps can give us wisdom as we go through life. Every day is an opportunity to learn, heal, and change.

I work with couples, adults, and individuals addressing relationship challenges, trauma, grief, attachment issues, cultural identity, and life transitions.

My approach

During our initial assessment, I gather information and identify goals you'd like to address. I work with approaches including Psychodynamic, Culturally Sensitive Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, CBT, Gottman Therapy, and Trauma and Grief Therapy. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals as you take this first step.

During our sessions together, we move at your own pace. We must develop a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and communication.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've worked in social services and the criminal justice system, where I learned there are many barriers preventing people from healing and creating change. I wanted to be that change for individuals and families, so I became a therapist.

During our initial session, I will hear from you about the goals and areas you would like to focus on. There may be more than one; however, you must decide which one you would like to address first.

Our first session

At our first initial session, we will both have the opportunity to meet and answer any questions. In addition, I will be going through the forms sent to you & discussing informed consent, confidentiality, and the treatment process. You will have the opportunity to explore the challenges you would like to focus on, along with a treatment plan.
