My focus

I work with children to adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also have experience working with individuals experiencing low self-esteem, and together we can find skills that will empower you to overcome negative symptoms.

My approach

I use a cognitive behavioral and holistic approach throughout treatment. I help you uproot experiences leading to negative self-thoughts, which can impact your mental health. Additionally, I am open to challenging those negative self-thoughts and helping you reconstruct overwhelming feelings and triggers.

My communication style

I have clear communication and boundaries. I provide a safe space without any judgment. I actively listen and encourage you to reflect. I understand that expressing oneself is a very vulnerable and important part of therapy.

My journey to mental healthcare

Growing up, mental health was stigmatized, and feelings were never a part of humanity in my home. Working with trauma survivors enhanced my desire to help individuals throughout their healing process. There is power in therapy, and there is power in sharing your story.

I am very straightforward and aim to build a good therapeutic relationship that will promote a positive outcome.

Our first session

In our first session, you will get to know me, and I will ask about the reason for your visit. I will be considerate of how anxiety-producing this can be, and will be patient with you. This is a session where you will decide if we are a right fit for this journey. Overall, I'm very approachable and funny, which can help you feel more comfortable.
