I help young adults work through life's challenges, traumas, and difficult transitions. These struggles can cause sadness, anxiety, and anger and lead to inaccurate beliefs about ourselves. My passion is helping you gain personal insight and develop new skills to improve your quality of life and relationships.
My focus
I work with young adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, hopelessness, and anger that can stem from relationship discord or separation, interpersonal violence, child abuse, substance abuse, disabilities, homelessness, and poverty.
My approach
My counseling approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an effective treatment for anxiety, depression, and other struggles. CBT helps restructure maladaptive thought patterns and behaviors. I also utilize mindfulness exercises, emotion regulation, and solution-focused techniques.
