I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a diverse training background that includes Clinical Trauma, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Mental Health Integrated Medicine. My education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology, a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Ph.D. in Counseling.
My approach
My approach to therapy is based on the premise that the whole person needs healing: body, mind, and spirit. I believe that whether you call your core soul, spirit, heart, energy, Chee, or global consciousness, all parts of us are interconnected.
My focus
I work with individuals, couples, and families. Some of my passions include ADHD, substance use, anger management, anxiety, career counseling, codependency, coping skills, depression, divorce, domestic violence, emotional disturbance, family conflict, grief, life coaching, life transitions, marital/pre-marital issues, older adults, parenting, relationship issues, self-esteem, sexual abuse, first responders, veterans, trauma and PTSD, and spirituality.
My communication style
I communicate with compassion, directness, and respect for your whole being - body, mind, and heart. My approach blends empathetic listening with practical guidance to support your growth and healing journey.
