Hello, I'm Camille & I'm all about Empowerment! If you are surviving, instead of thriving, I offer to be your safe person to process your pain with, to further your personal growth, and to support you in your endeavors. Let's take back your life & make it meaningful!
My approach
I utilize Narrative, Experiential & Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approaches. I practice Neurofeedback and will be trained in EMDR by the end of Spring 2024. Let’s break through where you are stuck, and dream-build to create a purpose-driven life full of joy & satisfaction!
My focus
A majority of my clients are marginalized teens & their caregivers. Most of my clients arrive with high anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, depression, and stress related to operating within dysfunctional family systems &/or work situations. I resonate with empowering all humans to find their footing and take on the complexities of life.
My communication style
It is important to collaborate together. I provide a safe space for all orientations, genders, and beliefs to be heard & validated. I also provide coping skills, communication tools, resources & ideas to help you achieve a purpose-driven life full of joy.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have had a few careers along the way as a journalist and investor, but raising children allowed me to understand the importance of nurturing others, and this heart & soul work is crucial for the good of humanity and is therefore very rewarding.
My goals for you
I seek to understand where you are now, and also where you want to be. I become curious and look for both strengths & gaps. Determining together what is important, we make a plan to strive at a reasonable & achievable pace. I provide psychoeducation along the way to understand the journey. You may not feel it is possible to step into another realm, but there is always room for growth!
My first session with you
It's important that you trust me. So I take time to learn about you, at your pace. You can be honest with me, as I will lend an understanding ear. It's all in your own timing, as I realize therapy is a vulnerable process. But just take it as important conversations that help guide you to success--whatever that means to you.
