Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or struggling with life stressors? I provide solution-focused therapy to help you walk through life's challenges and become the best version of yourself.
My approach
I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities in my approach, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based techniques. My style is positive, optimistic, and accepting.
My focus
I specialize in working with adolescents, teens, and adults facing a range of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, grief, family conflict, divorce, parenting challenges, self-esteem issues, and job stress. I am also committed to providing an affirming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
My communication style
In our work together, you can expect me to be compassionate, attentive, and focused on collaborating with you to find effective solutions tailored to your unique needs and goals.
My journey to mental healthcare
I hold a Master of Social Work degree and completed my clinical training hours at Silverado Hospice in Irvine, CA from March 2015 to February 2016, and at Vitas Hospice, also in Irvine, from April 2016 to April 2018. My experience in hospice settings instilled in me a deep commitment to providing compassionate care and support to those navigating life's most difficult challenges.
My goals for you
My goal is to empower you with the coping skills, self-awareness, and resilience needed to navigate life's ups and downs with greater ease and fulfillment. Through our work together, I aim to help you gain new insights, heal from past wounds, and build a life that aligns with your values and aspirations.
My first session with you
In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and collaborate to establish your unique treatment goals. This is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of my therapeutic style and to ask any questions you may have about the therapy process. Most importantly, my priority is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, validated, and supported.
