My communication style

I present myself with a warm, friendly, non-judgmental approach. My primary goal is for clients to feel welcome. Active listening and reflection are common communication styles that I use with clients. I make sure that clients know that I am listening to them and genuinely want to help.

My journey to mental healthcare

Helping others has always been something I do from the heart and look forward to doing. I became fascinated with therapy early on in my career when I learned about how life-changing therapy is to individuals. When working with clients, my biggest reward is bringing hope and peace to clients.

My goals for you

I believe that goal-setting should be done in collaboration. I encourage the client to share challenges and what is expected to be received from therapy. I provide guidance and together create achievable goals.

Our first session

During first session, I introduce myself to the client and provide a safe space for the client to introduce themself, the reason for attending therapy, identify expectations of therapy, and create goals with client . I use the first session to build rapport and establish a positive therapeutic relationship with the client.
