I have a wide range of experience, with a specialty in depression, anxiety, and trauma. I use an integrative approach, using methods such as psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, CBT, person-centered, and Gestalt, which I'll adopt to be suitable for your specific and individual needs.
My focus
I work with clients who are curious to learn about themselves and motivated to understand how their past connects with their current situation. My clients value working towards self-compassion by making sense of feelings and behaviors that may seem confusing or frustrating.
My approach
Most commonly, I use psychodynamic therapy, by which we'll make sense of your current situation in reflection of the impact of earlier life experiences and/or by specific trauma/traumas. We will most likely also adopt mindfulness theory in order to be able to process, tolerate, and work through feelings that have previously been too painful.
