I help individuals and couples navigate depression, anxiety, social phobias, self-esteem struggles, and patterns of self-sabotage. My work centers on building healthier relationships with yourself and others, addressing the shame that often holds us back from living fully.
My focus
I start from the presumption that taking ourselves seriously and learning how to "get out of our way" are two of the more difficult initial challenges all of us confront. Committing to engage in talking therapy requires courage to confront anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and perhaps a lifetime of toxic shame.
My approach
I use a client-centered, eclectic approach that's deeply collaborative. Together we'll create an individualized path toward personal empowerment, self-trust, and self-acceptance. I believe our relationships with others reflect the relationship we have with ourselves, so we start there.
