Hi there, I'm La Cresheia!

I am a marriage and family therapist licensed in California, with over 12 years of experience (combined licensed and intern hours), and I hold BA degrees in Psychology and Africana Studies. I have worked with diverse clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, cultural & racial identity, stress management, and grief and loss. I have also helped many clients who have experienced emotional, physical, and sexual abuse and those struggling with suicide ideation and co-occurring disorders. My counseling style is warm and collaborative. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining family systems theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and a variety of other client-centered modalities. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. And I will utilize our clinical relationship to provide support, practice, understanding, and modeling to help you improve interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships. Whatever your reason for considering counseling, finding the right person to come alongside you is an important decision, I consider myself a coach – encouraging, empowering, educating, and equipping people who are motivated to heal and grow.
