Congratulations on taking the first step towards living the life you want. Seeking help and sharing deeply personal things is not easy. I work with adults from all walks of life to address challenges related to low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger, relationships, life transitions, and stressors.

My focus

I work with adults across the lifespan, from young adults transitioning into adulthood, to middle adults redefining priorities, and older adults negotiating chronic illness. I also provide affirming treatment for LGBTQ+ populations related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and family conflicts.

I value self-determination, empowerment, and creating a safe environment that facilitates healing and growth. I utilize process-oriented therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you develop insight and skills needed to tackle life's challenges. My approach is empathic, collaborative, and client-centered.

My journey to mental healthcare

Struggle and adversity are a normal part of the human experience. My personal journey of growth and self-discovery led me to want to help others. I have always had an ability to connect with others in a deeply personal way, and becoming a therapist allowed me to use that gift to impact lives meaningfully.

I will work with you to establish realistic, reachable goals that you can maintain independently, so you leave therapy with the knowledge, skills, and tools to face life's challenges. We will use a strengths-based perspective, identifying what works well and skills you already have, then develop new tools to meet your goals.

Our first session

Our first session will involve getting to know each other, discussing the process of therapy, and the reasons you are seeking treatment. It is normal to feel nervous or unsure about what to expect. Therapy is a process, and over time, we will develop a therapeutic relationship of mutual respect and understanding.
