Jacqueline Hong, LMFT#124664, has extensive knowledge and experience working with adults with undiagnosed/diagnosed ADHD. I also work with disorders comorbid with ADHD, such as anxiety, panic, and depression with anxious features. My approach to therapy is mainly psychodynamic and relational, but also integrative since the needs of the client are all different.
My approach
My approach to therapy is integrative. I mainly use psychodynamic and relational approaches. However, I use CBT for initial symptom reduction.
My focus
I prefer seeing adults from 25 to 55 years old from all ethnic backgrounds. I am most accustomed to treating adults with ADHD, and comorbid disorders such as anxiety and panic disorders, and depressive symptoms with anxious features.
My communication style
I make sure to create trust and a safe environment for my clients. I provided active listening, reflection, reframing, and alternative perspectives for my clients' experiences that can lead to increased overall self-awareness, self-prioritization, less self-blaming, more objectivity, and an increase in self-confidence.
My goals for you
I set collaborative goals with my clients.
My first session with you
Before the first session, all consent paperwork needs to be completed. In the first session, an intake evaluation will take place.
