With the heart of a teacher, I help people understand their experiences and mental health issues. I teach coping skills using drawings and diagrams. Focusing mostly on individual adults, I know I can help you. Let's talk.

My focus

I work with individual adults experiencing Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder, and more. As a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, I'm comfortable offering prayer and scripture within our sessions if you desire that.

My approach

I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy frequently in my practice. Trauma-informed therapy is part of my everyday work with people. I teach concepts through simple diagrams and explanations that connect to your specific experiences.

My communication style

Sessions feel like learning with a teacher. I may ask you to draw simple diagrams while I explain mental health concepts. Each session starts with a short mindfulness activity, then checking in on your week. I offer ideas and suggestions, and we end with final thoughts and possible homework.

My journey to mental healthcare

As a therapy client, I quickly understood the value of sitting with a professional. It changed my life! I pursued social work so I could help people understand their mind, emotions, and behaviors. I love the moment when clients understand their own experiences and patterns.
