My focus

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood instability, anger, relationship difficulties, and stress related to life transitions, work, or family dynamics. I also support individuals managing mood disorders such as bipolar disorder, as well as those feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally dysregulated.

My approach

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I strongly believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, dignity and compassion. My approach combines mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, schema therapy, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our counseling sessions to your unique and specific needs.

My communication style

My communication style is warm, collaborative, and respectful. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I listen closely, reflect on what I’m hearing, and ask thoughtful questions to help clients gain insight and clarity.

My goals for you

I help clients reach their goals by working collaboratively to identify what they want to change, understand, or move toward in therapy. Early on, we clarify goals that feel meaningful, realistic, and aligned with the client’s values and current life circumstances. I believe goals should feel supportive and not overwhelming.

The first session is focused on helping you feel comfortable, respected, and heard. I’ll begin by explaining how therapy works, including confidentiality and what you can expect from our time together. From there, I’ll invite you to share what brought you to therapy, in your own words, at a pace that feels right for you.
