I tailor my approach to your individual needs, most frequently using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Humanistic Therapy to address unhelpful thought patterns while increasing function and overall well-being. Together, we'll develop your free will and strong sense of self in a safe place where you feel heard and validated.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to become a therapist began at a young age. I've always felt the need to build connections with others and help people through their most difficult times. I've worked with children who have been abused and neglected, victims of domestic violence, and people facing homelessness and grief.

I approach goal setting by building rapport and trust while learning what you'd like to achieve during our time together. I help identify barriers you may be encountering on your journey to achieve your full potential and live a fulfilling life. I collaborate with you and become your biggest supporter.

During our first session, I'll get to know you and how you've been feeling. I'll ask questions to gain a better understanding of you and your reason for participating in therapy, along with the physical and emotional symptoms you may be experiencing. This will help us develop a connection and a plan for moving forward.
