Hello, my name is Harout Harry‚ Berberian, LCSW. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has a passion for partnering with clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. I work with adults, couples, and families who are experiencing symptoms of depression, grief, stress, anxiety, as well as challenges of daily life by using cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients reach their identified goals.

I believe every client and their experience is unique. Therefore, my approach to therapy depends on the needs of each client I work with. I respect the client's right to self-determination and meet the client where they are in the therapeutic process.

As a professional psychotherapist, I am comfortable working with adults, couples, and families who are experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, or challenges of daily life and social pressures.
My communication style
My therapeutic philosophy is to create a safe and inviting environment to build rapport, trust, and the most helpful experience for the client. I recognize that it's not an easy choice to begin therapy and feel comfortable talking about challenges in your life. Therefore, I commend you for your efforts to help and better yourself. My journey to mental healthcare
I decided to become a therapist because I have always had a passion for helping people. Whether it was helping out in church, volunteering in my community, or being a trusted and loyal friend, I have always naturally been drawn to helping people through difficult times. As a therapist, I find great joy in seeing individuals become the best versions of themselves.

My approach to goal setting is simple. You are the decision maker. I will guide you through the process, but you are the ultimate goal-setter. Let's have a casual conversation and figure out together what areas you want to work on.
My first session with you
Our first session will consist of an introduction from myself to you and me, learning more about you and your needs. I am interested in learning as much about you as you are comfortable sharing. It is not always an easy decision to come to therapy. Therefore, I will make this safe space warm and inviting for you. We will take it one step at a time to fit your needs without judgment.
