Hello, I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 7 years of experience working with adults, geriatrics, and families from diverse backgrounds. I have provided a wide range of clinical services since 2014 and got licensed by the state of California in 2017.
My approach
I pride myself in offering a multifaceted, non-judgmental, safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive practice. I believe in a client-centered approach where you, the client, will lead and guide the therapeutic process by telling your own story. My approach will be tailored based on your needs and concerns, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), coaching, interpersonal therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, strengths-based approaches and solution-focused techniques.
My focus
I have primarily worked with the mental health population in acute settings. I have helped clients with concerns ranging from depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, mood disorders, and interpersonal and relationship issues. My specialties also include coping skills, job stress, life coaching, marital/pre-marital counseling, self-esteem, stress management, and women's issues.

My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Masters of Social Work degree and completed my clinical hours for licensure between June 2014 - April 2017 at Mission Community Hospital in Panorama City, CA. I was driven to pursue a career in mental healthcare by a deep desire to help others navigate life's challenges and empower them to live as their best selves.
My goals for you
The overall goal in life is to be the best version of yourself. I firmly believe that we constantly try to fit into these categories set by society about who or how we should be. I want anyone reading to take away from this: 'One shoe does not fit all.' Meaning we all carry different qualities, skills, and personalities often shaped by our life experiences which are not often shared by others. My goal is to help you uncover your unique strengths, overcome barriers, and chart a path forward that aligns with your authentic self.

We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your background, current challenges and your hopes for our work together.
