My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a therapist was shaped by recognizing how racial and cultural biases create barriers in mental health services. I saw how stigma left many without support and made seeking help feel shameful. I chose this path because everyone deserves compassionate, culturally sensitive care.

Our first session

In our first session, I'll create a safe space where you feel comfortable sharing. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your concerns, and what you'd like to work on. I'll ask background questions to understand your experiences and needs. Then we'll discuss your goals and begin building a plan together.
