My communication style is validating, empathetic, and assertive. I create a space where you feel heard and supported while also gently challenging you to move toward your goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have been passionate about psychology and human ability and the desire to change since early adulthood. I chose my major and continued my studies despite cultural obstacles. My commitment took me to a variety of settings, starting with nonprofit community mental health, later private, HMO, and others.

My goals for you

I ask clients what they want to achieve in therapy, what approaches they've tried before, what worked, and what obstacles prevented progress. We explore how you see your role and my role in therapy, creating a collaborative partnership.

Our first session

Acknowledging their courage to face their problems and their willingness to ask for help. Gathering their reasons for wanting help at this time, their history, and how it might be related to their present situation. Their strengths and resources in the past and present.
