My communication style

My communication style is one of warmth, acceptance, and non-judgment. I seek to create a safe space where clients can grow, explore, and learn tools and skills to aid them in leading a healthy day-to-day life. The goal is progress, not perfection.

My journey to mental healthcare

I entered this field driven by a passion for supporting individuals and families through life's challenges. My work across diverse settings has deepened my commitment to meeting people where they are and helping them find their path forward.

My goals for you

Setting goals and creating skills to reach those goals are important for us to see the path we would like to take. However, trust in your companion on the journey is imperative. Therefore, we will spend time building rapport and assessing along the way what goals are coming to the forefront. From there, goals will be set together.

Our first session

A first session is a conversation where you take the lead. I will have a few demographic and safety questions to review. This will be a 2-way discussion where questions the client may have for me can be addressed. I will provide a safe, comfortable space for you to decide if I am the best therapist for you.
