My communication style

My style is collaborative and engaging. I listen with empathy in a safe, accepting space where you can explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors without judgment. I offer feedback when helpful and help you connect the dots between your past and present when you're struggling.

My journey to mental healthcare

After spending time in the business world and volunteering with children, I realized how important it was to change careers and work directly with people. I moved to private practice so I could have a more direct effect on the lives of those I work with.

My goals for you

We set goals together based on why you're starting therapy now, what changes you want to make, and how you want your life and relationships to be different. We establish short and long-term goals, evaluate them regularly, and adjust as you move through therapy and learn new things about yourself.

Our first session

Trust is at the core of any good therapeutic relationship, and it starts from the beginning. We'll get to know one another, cover logistics, and I'll ask what brought you to therapy now. Questions will flow naturally, and by the end I'll have a sense of the best direction forward.
