My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN, studying from September 2001 to May 2007. To complete my clinical hours for licensure, I worked at the Elayn Hunt Correctional Center in St. Gabriel, LA from September 2005 to April 2008, and at Wasco State Prison in Wasco, CA from May to October 2008.
