Heidi De Leon

My name is Heidi De Leon,LCSW,CADC II I have been working in Addiction Treatment for almost 15 years. I’m a licensed clinical social worker as well as a certified addiction counselor. I am eclectic and my approach is to meet you where you’re at in the therapy process. My main focus helping you work through past trauma and helping you heal.

My approach

My approach is eclectic and tailored to your needs. I use a you centered approach and help guide you to solutions. I am trained in EMDR eye-movement, desensitization and reprocessing. This is has been the most sought after approach folks come to me for. However my toolbox is big and we will find what works for you.

My focus

Folx that I work are ready to make changes and want to work through various areas of life. Although I have the most experience working in Addiction Treatment, this experience has led me to work with many different complications. Individuals have due to past trauma. I am very familiar with LGBTQIA needs, religious trauma, complex post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression and other life transitions.

My communication style

My goal is to create a safe brave space for you. There is no need for code switching in my virtual office. I will meet you where you’re at I’m transparent and direct as clear communication is most helpful.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up in adversity and at a young age had no one to support me or guide me. It was a therapist who helped me learn most of what I could Not learn on my own due to being in foster care. Their kindness and compassion gave me hope. I knew I wanted to create this space for others to heal as well.
