Hi there, I'm Eui Jean!

My focus is to help with emotional regulation for anxiety and depression by repairing neuropathways and working on family relationships and intergenerational patterns.

My focus

I work with clients with anxiety, depression, and PTSD populations with family relationship issues involved. Working with CPTSD clients with family relationship issues has been effective for therapy. I also work with culturally diverse clients who need to process their stuckness between two or more cultures living in the US.

My approach

I conceptualize cases with attachment theory and EFT therapy for couples, as well as using restoration therapy. I was trained to work on intergenerational trauma with a narrative therapy background as well.

My communication style

Setting up an emotionally safe place for my clients is crucial for me so that clients can freely explore their stories in the therapy session. Clients will be able to experience what it feels like to build trust in the therapy relationship.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided to become a therapist when I was drawn to this field. Helping my clients has been the best career for me since I felt it was my calling to be.

It is important to identify what the goal is for the client and the client will go through the process of assessment together with a therapist in the session.
