My approach

My approach is tailored to your needs and only formalized after our initial intake. I regularly use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, or EMDR depending on what will help you most.

My communication style

I would describe my style as friendly but with purpose. My initial focus is creating a safe environment, almost like walking down a scary, dark street with a bodyguard. It might feel overwhelming at first, but nonetheless, possible.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey started young when I told friends I wanted to become a therapist. I found joy in connecting with people and wanting to make a difference in the lives of those who wanted things to be different. I can safely say this is what I was meant to do.

Goals in therapy are completely at your discretion. The only alterations I make are ensuring they're measurable so we can track your progress together.

Our first session

The initial appointment is used to gather information, identify problems, and figure out the best course of treatment. Initial goals start to formulate, and the therapeutic alliance is initiated.
