Hi there, I'm Emmanuel!

I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. I earned my Master’s degree from Walden University and am licensed to practice in Washington, Arizona, and Texas. My goal is to partner with you to support your health, well-being, and overall quality of life.

My focus

I work with children from age 9, adolescents, and adults. I treat ADHD, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, mood disorders, personality disorders, insomnia, PTSD, and panic disorder.

My approach

I use a comprehensive and holistic model that addresses the whole person, not just their symptoms with emphasis on: Biopsychosocial assessment -considering the interplay between biological, psychological, and social factors affecting mental health; Patient-centered care - collaborating with patients to identify their unique needs, values, and goals

My sessions are friendly and welcoming. I develop good rapport from our first encounter. I listen carefully and create space for you to express yourself fully.

My journey to mental healthcare

I completed a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) program, gaining a foundation in nursing principles and practices. I gained experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) by working in a medical/surgical unit for 5 years and then, as a psych nurse in emergency psych and in-patient psych units in a mental health hospital for 10 years, to develop skills.

My goals for you

I use a collaborative and supportive experience tailored to the individual's unique needs and circumstances. I remain patient, flexible, empathetic, understanding, and have a collaborative mindset. This is achieved by: Establishing a therapeutic relationship - Building trust and rapport with the patient; Identifying strengths and interests.

Our first session

The first session is an opportunity for me to establish a connection with the patient and begin the journey toward growth and recovery. I will start with an introduction and welcome, confidentiality and boundaries, initial assessment, sharing my story, setting goals and expectations, therapy approach.
