I approach therapy from a systems perspective. What that means is I view each client as being part of a larger system: their family, their support network, and their workplace.
My focus
Most of my clients are either depressed, anxious, or both. Many of my clients are female, and I have a few male clients. I enjoy providing parent education. I work extremely well with active recovery clients.
My approach
My focus is on life transitions - kids leaving home, parents aging, and reconciling difficult relationships. My desire is to assist you in your process of acceptance. Often it's a rocky road to get there. I can help. Much of therapy is psychoeducation. Helping you trust me, I assist you in speaking out about what you know.
