My focus

I enjoy working with adults in an individual setting. With more than 20 years of experience, I've been fortunate enough to provide services to a broad spectrum of clients with a wide range of challenges.

My approach

I prefer an interactive client-centered approach utilizing eclectic modalities tailored to the uniqueness of each individual. Some people are more comfortable self-directing the session, while others prefer a more structured approach. What's MOST important is for each person to get their needs met.

My communication style

I tend to speak in a direct, earthy, and sometimes humorous way while remaining sensitive to and supportive of my clients' needs. I want my clients to feel like I'm truly invested in their well-being.

My journey to mental healthcare

Like so many people, I knew what I wanted at an early age. My dream was to help people. That has never changed. I spent years putting numbers and letters in boxes and getting cussed out, knowing I was meant for other things but too fearful to take a risk. When the pain of remaining the same becomes greater than the pain of change, we change.
