I believe change happens in therapy through learning and experiencing new ways to respond to challenges in our lives, such as emotions, thoughts, pain, family, or spouses.
My focus
I typically work with clients who are struggling with their relationships with others, their past, or their emotions and thoughts in the moment. I am very comfortable working with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, OCD, and personality disorders.
My approach
The majority of my training is in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is an evidence-based approach that I've found aligns with my own life and has helped the majority of individuals I've worked with. I am also experienced in treatment using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
