I have an open, empathetic, and non-judgmental style, which creates a warm and accepting space so that you may feel safe to explore your thoughts, behaviors, beliefs, and feelings related to your symptoms.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was a Health Educator in the field of cancer prevention education and obesity treatment when I realized that I wanted to focus on helping individuals with more mental health concerns in a therapeutic setting, instead of a group/classroom setting.

My goals for you

Goal setting is important to successful therapy, and I encourage this practice whenever appropriate. Goals are mutually explored and defined, and always approved and possibly revised based on your preferences and my guidance.

Our first session

The first session is an important introduction for us both, and I would like to answer any questions and clarify any concerns that you may have. I would like to get to know what is bringing you to therapy now, and what you hope to accomplish.
