My communication style

I do my best to create a warm, inviting space for my clients. I want my clients to feel comfortable opening up about whatever may be on their minds, and that I am not here to pass judgment. I am here to support all my clients on any journey they are on.

My journey to mental healthcare

My major in undergraduate school was Sociology. While learning about social theories, the dynamics of human interaction, and how our Family of Origin can shape our lives, I decided I wanted to help others navigate the various challenges we face. So I obtained my Master's in Social Work, and here I am.

My goals for you

I like to meet clients where they are at. I also like to work on setting short- and long-term goals. However, my goal is not to make my clients feel overwhelmed by identifying long-term goals. They will be there, but my idea is to focus on small, obtainable, and achievable goals.

Our first session

My goal will be to identify what brings my clients to treatment, what they are looking for, and what they are hoping to gain. The most important thing will be for me to work on establishing rapport with my clients and making them feel comfortable. Without rapport, it could be a barrier for clients to work on their goals.
