I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), based in the Kern County area, working with clients around the state of California via telehealth. I have 13 years of experience working with children and teens/ adolescents in outpatient mental health clinics and in schools.

I have found that my approach works best with teens and young adults (under 25). I am used to working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, and difficult life transitions. I work to help individuals develop positive ways to cope with life stressors, feel better about themselves, and develop a more positive perspective in life.

My approach depends on your needs. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and a Person-Centered Approach to help you develop positive coping skills, feel better about yourself, and develop a more positive perspective.

I provide a safe space where you can be who you are. I communicate with empathy and without judgment so you feel comfortable talking about anything you want.

My journey to mental healthcare

As a teen, I was always the friend who would lend a listening ear. As a college student, I was the person who would volunteer when it was about helping children. Throughout my career, I have realized how much adversity children experience. All of these experiences have attracted me to become a therapist.

My goals for you

Goal setting is something we'll work on together. As we get to know each other and you begin to understand therapy, we'll focus on what's important to you and monitor your progress.

Our first session

During our first session, we'll get to know one another. We'll talk about how you've been feeling, and I'll ask questions to understand why you feel the way you do. We'll also discuss what you want to accomplish in therapy.
