Hi there, I'm Beverly!

Being human is complicated. I believe that psychological processes that arise naturally in human experience have appeared from adaptive and survival strategies since our earliest history. When adaptive, there is little reason to explore the interactive nature of our minds, emotions, and behaviors. However, we may find that the same psychological processes may set us at odds with the environment when problems in functioning arise. While it sounds simple, the knot can become quite tangled. At that point, reaching out for focused, professional help may prove valuable.
