I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in San Francisco, California, and working with clients via telehealth. I work with adults who experience stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, aging, end-of-life, and medical issues. I use a client-centered, whole-person approach to better understand my clients and help them heal.
My focus
My focus population is from young adults to older adults dealing with major life changes such as medical diagnosis, traumatic events, substance abuse, and end-of-life issues. I work with my clients to process these events and learn coping skills—including problem-solving and stress relief.
My approach
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I most frequently use Humanistic and Holistic techniques to encourage my client to view themselves as capable of directing their own behavior and achieving their unique goals. My clients typically gain understanding of themselves and gain self-esteem and self-confidence.
