My communication style

Clients tell me I am very empathic and compassionate, non-judgmental, curious about them and their circumstances and histories, and direct and gentle. My journey to mental healthcare

I was born to be a psychologist. I am deeply fascinated by human behavior and the complexities of people’s lives, and I am motivated by the challenge of identifying the underlying causes of their suffering and developing effective ways to alleviate, resolve, or, when necessary, help them accept difficult circumstances.

My goals for you

We set goals together in a collaborative way, focusing on what matters most to you—whether that’s finding relief from distress, learning new skills, gaining deeper insight into yourself, or improving communication and connection with loved ones.

Our first session

The first session is typically an intake session, where I take time to get to know you and gather important information about your background, what brought you to therapy, and the changes or outcomes you hope to achieve. It’s also an opportunity for you to get a sense of me—my style, my approach, and how I work.
