My journey to mental healthcare

I pursued a career in school counseling in Japan, and decided to pursue higher education in the U.S. I learned that social work aligned with my values. After obtaining a Master of Social Work degree, I worked for a not-for-profit agency that provides mental health services to immigrants from Asian countries.

My goals for you

First, I encourage individuals to identify their core values and things that are important to them. Then develop realistic and achievable goals that align with their core values.
