Hi there, I'm Sybil!

I work with adolescents, adults, and couples/families. I have worked in various settings, including mental health outpatient clinics, inpatient mental health, state hospitals, detention facilities, and prisons.

My focus

I have extensive training and experience working with individuals with persistent mental illnesses such as Schizophrenia, Major Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, and Marital/Family issues. I have worked for numerous agencies supporting a diverse clientele that ranges across socio-economic, ethnic, and gender lines.

My approach

To meet my client's needs, I employ a supportive, problem-solving approach that includes utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy modalities and techniques as appropriate. My interest is in providing you with an approach that is both evidence-based and personally satisfying.
