My communication style

My communication style draws from a collaborative effort. I believe that the client is an expert on themselves, and it is important to hear their story and then explore what they want to change or have differently for themselves. Together, we will work towards acquiring insight and skills to reach their goal(s).

My journey to mental healthcare

I enjoy helping people and want to make a difference. Being at service to others, assisting them as they work through life's challenges, and seeing the positives in themselves and how they can make a difference is rewarding. I also gain more insight and understanding as I work with my clients.

My goals for you

We explore what the client wants to change or have differently for themselves, what that would look like, and how the client will know when they have achieved their goal(s).

Our first session

Gathering information about the client and their concerns or symptoms, discussing what the client hopes to get out of therapy, and identifying the client's goal(s). Brief discussion/education on the client's concerns or symptoms and how we may approach these concerns or symptoms.
