Hi there, I'm Michael!

Whether you come on your own or as part of a couple, therapy is about partnership. We’ll set goals that matter to you, and as you gain new insights, we’ll adapt your plan to stay meaningful and supportive as you move toward where you want to be.

My focus

I work primarily with LGBTQIA+ clients, especially gay men and couples, many of whom come to therapy carrying burdens that are not always visible on the surface. These include anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, minority stress and marginalization, betrayal, domestic violence, suicidal thoughts, loneliness and isolation.

My approach

I practice from an integrative framework informed by approaches such as Internal Family Systems, psychodynamic therapy, and systems theory. In practice, this provides a more holistic understanding of the many layers that shape your experience—from family, relationships, culture, and society to deeper emotional and physiological processes within.
