My communication style

My approach is to empower you and draw upon your strengths to assist in processing changes. I am gentle and also pull upon exercise, movement, and diet as ways to bring us to the best versions of ourselves.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always known that I wanted to help people. I have had a long career in different settings that have all led to my role as a therapist. I work with diverse populations and continue to work on my skills in ensuring that I am meeting my clients' needs.

My goals for you

I like to set reasonable, sustainable goals in my work with clients. We revisit these frequently in order to ensure that I am assisting in making some progress.

Our first session

I use our first session to get to know one another, and many times, clients have questions for me. I share some of my work background and life experience as a single mom to connect with my clients. I set expectations for therapy and ensure that we are a good fit from both perspectives.
