My journey to mental healthcare

My path to becoming an LCSW grew out of a deep desire to understand people, to hold space for their stories, & be a steady source of support during life's most challenging moments. Long before I entered the field, I found myself drawn to listening, helping others make sense of their emotions, & seeing possibilities even in difficult circumstances.

My role is to partner with you in a supportive, collaborative way that empowers you to make meaningful, lasting change. Part of our work together is getting clarity on what you want and need - and turning that into meaningful, achievable goals.

Our first session

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal to feel nervous or unsure about what to expect. The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your needs, explore your goals for therapy, and identify ways in which I can support you.
