My focus

Primary clinical concerns include: Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Empowerment/Self-Esteem, Crisis Management, Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Adolescent Development, Grief & Loss.
My communication style
I have a nonjudgmental, client-centered, humanistic approach. I'm patient and respect the process it takes to build rapport. I also believe words are power and assist clients with ways on how to minimize the use of words that feed negative thinking patterns.
My journey to mental healthcare
Reflecting on my life, I've always found myself engaging in ways to support the community and needs of others, whether it was working for social service agencies or volunteering as a mentor or tutor.
My goals for you
Goal setting is a collaborative approach. I use strength-based interventions to engage and empower the client to identify their personal and clinical goals.
My first session with you
First sessions typically include assessments, psychoeducation, and an opportunity for the client to verbalize their perception of their needs and expectations of therapy.
