My communication style

My communication style is direct, caring, and client-centered. I try to set a tone of warmth, collaboration, and safety. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions. I use active listening, empathy, and clear, supportive dialogue.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have been a mental health provider in health settings throughout my years as a clinical social worker and decided to pursue the virtual therapist route as I wanted more exposure to clinical work while working in a managerial role. I have enjoyed the past year of building my clinical work and learning how to support clients.

My goals for you

I help clients reach their goals by creating a clear and collaborative treatment plan that reflects their unique values, strengths, and needs. Together, we identify specific, achievable objectives and regularly check in on progress to stay aligned and motivated. I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each person to support growth.

Our first session

I would like to get to know you and learn more about what brings you to pursue therapy. I will ask for a basic psychosocial history, mental health history, and previous therapy experiences. I will ask about your goals and what you are looking for in therapy, and how we can work together to achieve them.
