I take a strengths-based and solution-focused approach to identify problems and move toward solutions while maintaining progress. I draw primarily from internal family systems and cognitive behavioral approaches, as well as somatic approaches for anxiety and trauma symptoms.

My communication style

The tone of sessions with clients is growth-minded, yet also developmental, meaning you get to be exactly where you are and move forward from there. There is no comparing you to where other people your age are in life.

My journey to mental healthcare

Psychology is a young field, which means we are always learning from new research. Life brings hardships to each person, and I enjoy bringing new perspectives, techniques, and skills to help people live fulfilling and empowered lives amidst inevitable challenges.

The first session is about welcoming you to the therapeutic experience, asking questions about what brought you to the session, and answering any questions you have. We will develop a preliminary roadmap for where you'd like the therapeutic experience to take you.
