I work with individuals with difficulties in relationships, stress, and parenting problems who may also have issues with depression and anxiety.

My focus

I work with clients across the entire life span, specializing in women's relational issues, including those who are or have been affected by persons who struggled with excessive alcohol and/or substance abuse, which often leads to poor boundaries, lack of self-care, and putting the needs of others first.

My approach

I use a variety of approaches and techniques in therapy. I utilize a person-centered approach, suggesting practical tools to implement straight away and begin the process of healing. I often use tools and skills from CBT and DBT Therapy.

My communication style

I have an open communication style and encourage feedback and input so I can fully understand the issues at hand and determine best approaches to take in moving forward and accomplishing clinical goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

My healing journey began including book study, workshops, and 12-step groups. I was determined to figure out how to live comfortably in my own skin and in relationships. I soon came to realize I enjoyed this process of introspection, and I wanted to share in the healing process of others.

Our first session

Sessions will allow a safe place to communicate issues and concerns while having a non-judgmental ear. Efforts will be made to determine the desired outcomes of therapy to begin to develop a practical plan on how to accomplish goals.
