My approach
I have a client center approach using Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy and Mindfulness.
My focus
My focus for over 20 years has been working with individuals with Substance use Conditions and Anxiety. I also have over 15 years of experience working with individuals involved in the Justice system.
My communication style
I have a calm tone with the focus on being emphatic, sharing hope, and sometimes humor. I like to get real with one another as rapport is being built.
My journey to mental healthcare
I started my journey when I was a young teen. I always enjoyed assisting others and listening to others. My journey was not always smooth but I learned from all that I have gone through the power of sharing my thoughts and feelings.
My goals for you
I believe all people have the ability to set goals for themselves self, but I believe in refining this process using SMART goals.
My first session with you
I would expect our first session to get to know one another while I interview the client. I believe this session is about the client to believe that I could assist them with their goals.
