I assist clients in building coping skills to navigate life's challenges. My focus areas of practice are life transition, grief, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and trauma.

I often work with clients navigating life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ community, young adults, and older adults.

My approach

I have a client-centered, eclectic approach based on cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness. I assist clients in meeting their therapy goals by exploring the complexities of human emotions, building greater understanding, and strengthening coping skills.

My communication style

It is my goal to create a relaxed, non-judgmental, safe space for my clients to feel they can freely express themselves and explore their thoughts and emotions. I meet clients where they are in their journey and have them set the pace of therapy.

My journey to mental healthcare

It is a humbling experience to be able to work with people at such an intimate level. I love being a part of people's journey toward better self-care, healing, and hope. It is truly an honor to be a therapist.

At the first session, I have clients set their goals for therapy. Goals are revisited throughout the course of therapy and changed or adjusted as needed or desired.

Our first session will be about getting to know one another. I will ask questions to gather information regarding your life's journey, what brings you to therapy at this time, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We will discuss what you can expect from me as a therapist and how we can best work together to achieve your goals.
