Hi there, I'm Andrew!
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy in California, including in-person services to those in the San Diego area. I help clients learn practical skills, develop a better understanding of themselves, and to explore what they want from life. I work primarily with dissociative disorders, trauma, grief, and life transitions.
My focus
I work primarily with clients who have gone through trauma, and with clients who are trying to discover a new version of themselves. I am comfortable working with a wide range of conditions, but focus my work on trauma (PTSD/CPTSD) and dissociative disorders (DID/OSDD).
My approach
I approach therapy through the lens that unhealthy coping responses were once tools that helped us navigate stress and trauma. I have a gentle but active approach to therapy that includes the use of EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
