Hi, I'm Adam Jones. I've been a licensed clinical social worker for 26 years. I chose a social work career to support and help others who find themselves in difficult situations. I'll help you identify your strengths, set attainable goals, and work with you to address feelings of anxiety or depression. I have a particular interest in happiness and well-being and would be glad to incorporate this into our work if you wish.
My approach
I believe that cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy are well suited to address anxiety and depression. I also believe in an eclectic approach to customize treatment to your particular needs and style

After discussing what feels most pressing to you initially, we'll start with identifying one or two issues that you'd like to focus on first. Together, we'll set attainable goals and identify approaches that are best suited to you. We'll regularly assess progress, talk about what works or doesn't, and adjust accordingly.
